Pathways is designed for candidates currently pursuing a master’s degree (or doctorate degree in some countries), or with a military background.

Make a global impact
Pathways hires in the following geographic areas (based on business need):
• North America: Canada, Mexico, and the United States
• Europe: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom
• Asia: India and Japan
Note: Although there is a location specified on each of our roles, you may be stationed at any of our locations in your country of hire based on our business needs. Placements require flexibility, but we will take your location preferences into consideration.
Pathways career progression
Summer Internship
Interns will be assigned to a site in our operations network. You’ll complete a project that exposes you to high-level leadership and complex project execution. Your internship will last 10 to 12 weeks. At the end, you can be considered to return as a full-time Pathways leader (based on business need) after you complete your graduate studies.
Operations Manager
In the full-time role, you’ll start in the Area Manager Experience, when you’ll have an opportunity to get to know your site. Then you’ll lead teams of 300 to 500 members, or a new site or business type. You’ll improve the efficiency of the operations processes, supported by our engineering and tech teams.
Senior Operations Manager
As you complete the program, you’ll move on to become a senior leader within Amazon Operations, using your analytical skills and operational and leadership experience. You’ll execute initiatives in supply chain and transportation and logistics. After this role, you can explore a range of opportunities for career advancement within Operations or across Amazon.
